Before enrolling at UT Austin, I studied film production at NYU Tisch School of the Arts. During my time at NYU, I directed several short films and worked on a number of film projects in various roles, such as producer, videographer, editor, production assistant, and actor.

As a director, I design detailed shot lists during pre-production; block actors with precision during rehearsal and on set; and use long takes to highlight performances, create atmosphere, and place the audience in a more active viewing position. I have experience working with digital cameras as well as 16 mm and 35 mm film formats. Below, you can watch my director's reel, the trailer for my NYU thesis film "Two Sisters" (shot on Super 16 mm film), and my short documentary "Transcending the Cognitive."

In producing roles, I have been responsible for organizing crowdfunding campaigns and social media outreaches; managing budgets and coordinating funds with department heads; negotiating locations, transportation, and rentals; organizing and holding auditions; and planning meals for cast and crew.

I also have experience as a production assistant in the office and on set. My responsibilities have ranged from completing standard clerical tasks to making copies of keys, searching the depths of Chinatown for discounted baseball caps, and procuring Dr. Bigelow's office sign for the episode "Back" of the FX TV series Louie.
